Home appliance sales live in seasons: humidifiers in winter, kitchen appliances before the holidays, air conditioning in summer. The brand needed an operator able to absorb a wave of containers before the season and release it to retail chains without holding stock longer than necessary.
On top of that came headquarters' security requirements: full monitoring, zone access control, an auditable history for every pallet. At this stock value, any warehouse damage shows up in the P&L immediately.
Dedicated zones and flow without storage
Under a contract logistics agreement, we carved out dedicated pallet zones within the 24,000 m² warehouse, with access control and 280 cameras watching every stage of goods handling. Each pallet's history is fully auditable, from unloading to loading.
Seasonal volume waves run through cross-docking: containers from the port are split across outbound docks in a daily cycle, without shelving the goods. Returns from retail chains come back to an inspection zone where we assess condition and put products back on sale.
